I will not waste much time reviewing this waste of print.
The author shows himself to be amazingly selfish in not sharing the wealth of insight he has to the masses who find themselves spinning like a top all day, hung up in all the confusing stories that mesmerize their very existence…(geez)It’s insulting..
This book will not help you ‘debunk’ any ‘theories’ but does serve as a great reminder that people who think that maybe everything they’re told by Government and mainstream media isn’t true – are ‘conspiracy nuts’..
The title of the book also seems to have a typo; The title should be ‘Conspriacy Theories and Secret Societies ARE for Dummies’..
..Don’t waste your time or money..

This book is not what one would expect it to be. It is written by two conspiracy debunkers. It seems that these two authors have an agenda in wanting to debunk every conspiracy theory that comes along.
Thus, it is full of factual errors. For example, they say that John Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone. They also say that the face and pyramids on Mars are not real. And it goes on and on and on.
I paid 20 dollars for a book that’s not even worth 20 cents.

i am not a conspiracy nut by any means i just like to see whats out there. i have read many conspiracy books and i have to say this is by far the worst. it is just one sided, everything they write about any conspiracy is wrote to make you think you would have to be an idiot to think it true(or to even think it possable). i have no problem with debunking but make that the name of the book.

Conspiracy Theories & Secret Societies For Dummies (For Dummies (History, Biography & Politics))
I have read many of the “Dummies” series books and really liked them, but this book is horriable. Basically, if you think people who believe in conspiracy theories are a bunch of nutballs then this book is for you. I would think that Wiley and Co. would have choose an author who would reference the conspiracy theories, and then give both sides of the story on the theories. The author is very biased against Conspiracy Theories and Secret Societies. In the future, I will walk down to the local bookstore and read a “Dummies” book for a few minutes before buying it. Basically, if you question government’s overreach of power, the author will think your a nutball. Thumbs down!!!

All I learned was that their are lots of whacky conspiracies created in order to discredit any reasonable criticism leveled against legitimate concerns. What does the Attack on the U.S.S Liberty have to do with Elvis sightings at BK ? Answer: Nothing, but the average person will generalize and think that they are both ridiculous. This is how the disinformation game is played. Nobody in their right mind believes the Oswald farce anymore on JFK unless of course you are the typical brainwashed American that thinks their job depends upon sucking up to the system. Surprise sheep, your jobs are moving offshore anyways so why continue believing the lies ? May I suggest: “Rare Carroll Quigley interview” on youtube for starters.
