If 911 Was A Government Conspiracy What Was The Goal?

I need to do a history essay and I chose 911 conspiracy theories, but I find it confusing because if it was the government who initiated all of the events of that day what was their goal? Was it to go to war with Iraq by making it look like it was their fault? Or was the goal something else?

Wow great question, is was initiated by the government first off there is too much evidence to say it wasn’t. There are many reasons, but its part of a much broader picture called the New World Order. I would suggest you watch 9/11 Mysteries or Loose Change- Final Edition. After watching one of those if you are very interested check out “TerrorStorm” and Endgame. All of these films are available on google video. But here are some of the most direct reasons
A-Excuse to have a international war on “terror”, creates fear among the population and makes them more willing to give up critical rights
B-With this fear they passed such legislation as the Patriot Act taking away rights and preparing for the eventual martial law declaration, do more Research to know what im talking about regarding martial law
C-Excuse to invade iraq, as Saddam Hussein refused to take loans from international bankers who are effectively in control of our government, with this invasion they could take oil and more importantly establish large military bases to invade other countries such as iran and Syria.
I think their goal is to untie their hands. Okay, scrap the metaphor. If I am one of the conspirator probably is to incite the people. To get an excuse to make future wars or to iniciate aggresive policies.
I am no Nazi but I will give you a quote from Hermann Göring:

The goal definitely would have been to allow the government to manipulate popular acceptance of the Iraq War.But you must determine too what kind of conspiracy is subject to investigation,starting with a scenario wherein agencies allegedly encouraged the entire plot through the Pakistani Secret Service and babysat the plot through to its conclusion,to the possibility at the other extreme that US agencies had foreknowledge of the attacks and organized a stand down.There certainly are many unanswered questions relating to the interceptor role not played that morning by US fighters which ought normally have prevented the second and subsequent attacks. I also think its important to sift out the rubbish like the claim that the 3 towers which collapsed were brought down by controlled explosions.This has to be nonsense as such devices could easily have been discovered and the people planting them seen and discovered, and too why take such a risk if you have brought off a massive plot already sufficient in itself to orchestrate a massive change of US foreign policy. This has of course happened before over Vietnam, and there is convincing evidence that JFK’s decision to come out of Vietnam was the final nail that killed him, in that he had signed NS AM 272 proposing the withdrawal of the first 1000 advisers by Christmas 1963,confirmed in Stars and Stripes Oct 11 1963. As we know LBJ immediately rescinded this order and through the fraudulent Gulf of Tonkin Resolution later succeeded in plunging the US into a useless war, which incidentally McCain thinks the US should have and could have still won, when it was in fact all over after the TET Offensive, which the US forces conclusively won, but the die was cast and the lie recognized by the American people.
The goal is usually globalisation – one world government.
The aim is to eventually bring the world to a point where it will just be one currency, and one world president running things.
Religion gets in the way of this, so religion is first on the hitlist. If they can make all Muslims out to be nutters and make general religion disliked then they stand a better chance of making one world.
Examples would be the consolidation of 2 main continents: US and Europe (most of Europe has ONE currency – The Euro – and all of the countries has to obey with European Law)

In a nutshell, to ‘use’ the ‘excuse’ of the event to ‘lock-down’ the lives of its people; by tracking them (etc) to within an inch of their lives. (The controversial R.Fid device is being used in time, to inject in everyone, so we can be scan.ned.) Oh, and to crank up the fear factor.
