In the movie Conspiracy Theory, Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson) makes a reference to a book that he has to buy everytime he sees it in the store. What is the book? My husband and I couldn’t think of the name.

Since the September 11, 2001 attacks, a number of websites, books, and films have challenged the mainstream account of the attacks. Although mainstream media report that al-Qaeda conspired to carry out the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks, 9/11 conspiracy theories assert the mainstream accounts are inaccurate or incomplete. Many groups and individuals challenging the official account (often referred to as the “OCT,” or “Official Conspiracy Theory,” a term coined by Dr. David Ray Griffin) identify as part of the 9/11 Truth Movement
Videos like loose change and theoreis by proffesors stated that the reasons why the building falled was due to inside bombing in the building and not the plane crash

If you have any belief in a government conspiracy involving the free masons or the new world order, what are your thoughts about it? Some of it to me is believable, other things are vague or futile.

Please I just want to know why people say these things. I lost a real good friend on 911 as any one who knows me knows.
I believe in America and do not think she would ever ever do what was suggested by the 911 conspiracy theorist who hold on to that notion, I want to know why any one would believe this stuff and where did you get your facts.

I have to write ten pages on a conspiracy theory. Since I refuse to write about something as played out as the moon landing, arae 51, or jfk’s assassination (and those topics have already been chosen by other classmates) I need to find an original theory. There has to be information on the subject, hence the term research paper. Also, scientific ideas are ideal, but any creative idea is welcome!

In Marcello’s case the intent of the Kennedy administration was made known even before Inauguration Day, January 20, 1961. On December 28, 1960, the New Orleans States-Item reported that Attorney General-designate Kennedy was planning specific actions against Marcello. An FBI report from that period noted:

“On January 12, 1961, a [source] advised that Carlos Marcello is extremely apprehensive and upset and has been since the New Orleans States-Item newspaper on December 28, 1960 published a news story reporting that… Robert F. Kennedy stated he would expedite the deportation proceedings pending against Marcello after Kennedy takes office in January 1961.”

While the House Select Committee on Assassinations carefully examined numerous areas of information pertaining to the proficiency of the FBI in investigating organized crime during the 1950′s and early 1960′s, and found various areas in which Bureau performance was significantly deficient, questionable and even suspiciously so, the city of New Orleans was a special case. The FBI’s outright denial of the existence of organized crime in New Orleans was unique to that city.

The facts reveal that the Bureau’s conclusions on Marcello in New Orleans were attributable to a disturbing attitude on the part of the senior agent who supervised the organized crime investigations in that city, Regis Kennedy. He had been in charge of the Bureau’s work on Marcello and the New Orleans Mafia for years; unfortunately, he had also directed much of the FBI investigation in that city of President Kennedy’s assassination.
